A string of fatal aviation accidents has gripped the United States in 2025, resulting in the deaths of 88 people across seven major incidents. The alarming trend has reignited concerns about flight safety, marking the deadliest year for commercial aviation in the U.S. since 2009.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has begun investigations, with preliminary reports expected within 30 days of each accident. However, determining the probable causes and contributing factors could take up to two years.
